The position is responsible for lead role in developing and implementing the comprehensive overall data management plan and policies for the Office of Health Informatics and the Division of Public Health. The position has a lead role in defining and implementing data management principles, goals, policies and procedures in consultation with the Division's management across Bureaus, Offices and programs.


The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with other Bureaus and Offices within the Division of Public Health to develop data related plans, policies, practices, and standards that ultimately enhance the value of the data and improve public health program decisions and evaluations. The incumbent will consult with managers and leadership on complex data related issues. This position will also be responsible for implementing data access, availability, usage, and quality tasks from the Data Management Strategic Plan.
