Leads the successful delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with internal and external clients and colleagues. May act as analytic team lead or mentor for complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks in support of company objectives.


Responsible for the successful delivery of projects and data-related solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with internal and external clients and colleagues. Acts as the data team lead or mentor for complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks, providing individual mentoring in support of company objectives. Focus on specific data domain areas, such as: claims, member, provider, plan sponsor, pharmacy, care management, fraud.


Fundamental Components


Accountable for providing Data Governance and stewardship across assigned Domains.


Develop and maintain a network of data owners and subject matter experts(SME) for assigned domain areas. Working with data owners and SMEs, be the "Gate Keeper" in maintaining consistency, uniformity and accuracy of assigned data domains., assist in the identification, definition and population of the correct and required data.


Assists in data management and governance initiatives from data sourcing, data quality enhancements, rollout of projects aimed at better governance of data.


Ensure that all data management standards reflect existing data governance policies.


Partner with technical teams to drive forward on data governance strategy.


Participate in formal project teams and activities to implement data governance guidelines.


Educates business and technical communities on purpose and value of Data Governance and importance of Data Quality. Ensure appropriate stakeholders are involved.


Contributes to data quality / integrity / remediation initiatives; working with various stakeholders to solve complex data issues; identify and develop the actions required to complete remediation.


Contribute to establishment (and transformation as needed) of standards for data quality, usage, and definitions through tooling and scorecards.


Examines data quality, applications, and functions and recommends changes to enhance processes Executes issue management and resolution processes for the data community (owners & SMEs) leveraging the authoritative data governance tools, building consensus around key data issues and actions required to address them, and developing action plans and timelines to complete remediation.




  • 5+ years of health research, epidemiology or pharmaceutical industry analytic experience.
  • Demonstrated Project Management and/or Team Lead experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems and standards; demonstrated subject matter expert in multiple subject areas.




The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
