The Marketing Operations team will be responsible for the execution, analysis and evolution of the cross-channel marketing campaigns using cross-channel marketing platforms.     Key Elements of the Position


    Serve as the primary contact to ensure alignment across data producers and consumers; business stakeholders, IT professionals, 3 rd party vendors and end users


    Work jointly with business and technical leaders to establish data governance policies and educate stakeholders to gain adoption and participation


    Ensure broad awareness regarding the importance of data as a strategic corporate asset and the shared responsibility for maintaining data quality, consistency, accessibility and usability.


    Lead business and technical teams in the developing naming standards, data definitions, aliases, shared calculations and derived values


    Establish best practices and identify opportunities for improvement, reuse and repeatability and automation related to data integrity, quality, consistency and access






    Manage the development and accuracy of metadata artifacts including: business rules, data dictionaries, entity relationship diagrams, source to target mapping, and operational monitoring,


    KPIs and data quality benchmarks.


    Proactively identify data discrepancies, conduct root-cause analysis to resolve issues and maintain data integrity, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


    Take hands-on role in the analysis, ingestion and integration of new data sources to ensure adherence to standards for accuracy, completeness and traceability


    Develop and socialize strategies for ongoing data and process improvement


    Identify tools needed for success and ongoing maintenance of data stewardship program


    Define primary data domains to organize and manage subject area, entity and element level stewardship program


    Establish data quality benchmarks, targets and thresholds


    Develop processes to implement automated data audit, quality/integrity measurement monitoring and reports


    Develop functional and technical classification for data entities and elements as it relates to security. purpose, topic and source


    Ensure data type standardization and compatibility across environments


    Coordinate with technical and business teams to institute data testing, QA and UAT methodologies


    Develop data retention policies and approaches to meet analytic, operational and compliance requirements




    Minimum of 4-6 years of large-scale, corporate data management experience


    Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing or Technology


    Demonstrated expertise in data management functions including data stewardship, data quality, metadata management, data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing and business intelligence, master and reference data, data security, and data integration


    Strong understanding of Data Governance (e.g., developing and implementing data standards, policies, practices, and procedures that lead to substantive improvements in data quality)


    Knowledge and experience managing data architectures, polices, practices and procedures to appropriately and effectively address business and stakeholder's needs


    Familiarity with tools used for analyzing and documenting metadata, data profiling, logical relationships among data, processes or events


    Proficiency with tools, techniques and standards to ascertain the quality, effectiveness, security and accuracy of information systems


    Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to grow relationships with key partners


    Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with, present information to, and respond to questions from all levels of the organization and partners
